Paverpol Paverplast
Mix Paverplast powder with Paverpol Textile Hardener to create a sculpting paste that air-dries to a weatherproof, watertight finish, ideal for outdoor birdbaths, fountains, and pools.
Paverplast also creates a watertight layer for styrofoam, self-hardening clay, plaster, or papier mâché sculptures.
Mix this powder (100grs) with 500 gram Paverpol to a paste. This then can be used on several materials e.g. on foil, wood, etc.
Mix this powder with Paverpol to a spreadable paste to give objects smooth finish. Outdoor proof.
Working with Paverplast
By mixing Paverplast with Paverpol you make a paste with which you can make a completely waterproof, weather-resistant layer for your sculptures of, for example, styrofoam, plaster and self-hardening clay.
Use
Mix Paverplast powder with Paverpol (100 grams of Paverplast on 500 grams of Paverpol) to a thick paste (such as peanut butter). So now you are not working with Paverpol, in which you dip textile, but with a homemade paste that you apply to your surface, for example with a spatula. Apply a layer of 1 to 2 mm. After drying, you can apply several layers to make it extra strong. If you want a smooth surface, dip your finger in water and brush over the still wet surface. Varnishing is not necessary.
Materials
A Paverplast paste is suitable for making permanently water-resistant workpieces such as bird drinking bowls, fountains and ponds. With this paste you also give sculptures of polystyrene foam (isomo), plaster, self-hardening clay, eco-shape, paper maché, a completely waterproof layer.
Various sizes
Paverplast is available in pots of 100 and 400 grams.
To combine
Paverplast mixed with Paverpol can be colored with Pavercolor. The Paverpol with Paverplast is strong enough to put outside. If you have still painted it, we recommend applying a coat of Josefine varnish to protect the colors from the sun’s UV rays. This way the colors stay beautiful longer.
To keep
The Paverplast paste dries in the air. You can store the pasta in an airtight container. If the Paverplast paste starts to get too tough, add a little Paverpol. Do not use water for diluting. Paverplast paste is also an excellent outdoor adhesive.
