“I named this Colleen’s Handee Balm. I made this for the soul purpose of lightly greasing my dry hands/fingers in order to be able to grip wool for doll making. Often my hands or fingers are very dry and I find it hard to manipulate the wool with my fingers. This is a vial piece to my needle felt doll making process. I came up with this recipe along with a good friend and I’m very happy with the end result. It has a faint citrus or strawberry fragrance to it and not over powering. This Handee Balm comes in a clear plastic box. It serves as a great storage container and keeps dust and fiber off from your Handee Balm when not in use. 1 Hand Balm will last you a long time. I needle felt full time and I would use 1 a year. But if you make larger dolls, it would probably last 6 months. Do try one and you will see what I mean.”
